International seminar "Latvian Writings and Writings in the Baltics from the 16th to 19th Century"

On 13 January 2023, the National Library of Latvia hosted the 13th international seminar "Latvian Writings and Writings in the Baltics from the 16th to 19th Century – Current News and Problems of Research". The seminar was dedicated to various aspects of research of writings from earlier centuries.

The interdisciplinary seminar was attended by linguists and literary scholars who told about current research and findings. Scientists from universities and research institutions of Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden gave their presentations at the seminar.
