On 19 October 2023, the seminar "Aristotle's Poetics and Rhetoric. How and why to read?" was held at the National Library of Latvia making it possible to get to know the ancient texts and to evaluate the twists and turns of their translation and interpretation. The seminar was led by Professor Ilze Rūmniece and Assistant Professor Ilona Gorņeva of the Department of Classical Philology of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Latvia.
