Remembering Loskiel. An evening of Herrnhutian songs

On 26 September 2022, as one of the events complementing the Modināšana. Stāsts par hernhūtiešiem (Awakening. The Story of the Herrnhutians) exhibition, the National Library of Latvia hosted an interdisciplinary event – Pieminot Loskīlu. Hernhūtiešu dziesmu vakars (Remembering Loskiel. An evening of Herrnhutian songs). The format of the event, which combined a concert, a poetry reading and an academic lecture, enabled participants to find out about and emotionally experience the Herrnhutian singing heritage.
