On 15 October 2022, the Es rakstu par sevi (I am writing about myself) event was held at the National Library of Latvia. One part saw participants finding out about the life stories of 18th and 19th century Latvians in the Modināšana. Stāsts par hernhūtiešiem (Awakening. The story of the Herrnhutians) exhibition. This was followed by a creative-writing master class led by writer Osvalds Zebris, imparting suggestions for writing down one's own – a 21st century person's – life story.
